Kauhajoen Asunnot currently has properties in six different suburbs around Kauhajoki. Finnish rental apartments are usually unfurnished, but they do come with basic household appliances such as a refrigerator and a stove. Additionally, it is common for the property to have an in-house coin-operated laundrette and a sauna that can be reserved if the apartment does not have one. With the exception of Aronkylä, all of our properties have fibre-optic broadband and the use of a wi-fi router is included in the rent. The properties all are accessible either by car, on foot or by bike – you don’t necessarily need a car to get around in Kauhajoki. If you do have a car, you can reserve a parking space that also includes a power socket for the block heater, which is an essential winter accessory for motorists.

About Aronkylä
Aronkylä properties are great for anyone working in the Aronkylä industrial park or in the direction of Jalasjärvi, Teuva, Isojoki or Karvia as all main roads are closeby. There is also a bike route following Topeeka that goes all the way through town, so shops and services are accessible without a car as well.

Filppula is surrounded by fields and dotted by park areas and greenery. The main road Topeeka leads to town and schools, kindergartens and the shops are all closeby. The location is convenient for anyone working in town or in the Aronkylä area, while main highways are all easily accessible as well.

Properties in the City Centre
About City Centre area
All main facilities of the town, from various schools to the local library and the sports centre, pharmacies and the health centre are less than a 15-minute walk apart, while the beautiful riverside park is an excellent place for a leisurely stroll during summer. The main roads Topeeka and Puistotie run across town, and the Seinäjoki train station and other nearby hubs are accessible by bus.

Did you know? Neva, in Finnish, refers to a type of swamp. Much of Kauhajoki was covered by either forests or swamps back in the olden days, which is still reflected in some of the local place names.
About Neva-Kokko
The Neva-Kokko properties are close to the Kauhajoki school hub and the local library, while the shops are still less than 5 km away from any property. Pedestrians and cyclists of all ages can travel safely, thanks to good cycle routes and ample pedestrian crossings. Main access roads to highways are also closeby.

About Koivisto-Kokko
Koivisto-Kokko is more densely populated than the neighbouring Kalkunmäki suburb, but still close to nature. Getting around is easy either by bike, on foot or by car and residents are truly spoilt for choice when it comes to leisure activities in summer and in winter. Furthermore, the Pellonkuja property has a newly refurbished, large courtyard with plenty of greenery.
